School Rules!

Hi Everyone!

Tiddly Inks is having a themed challenge School Rules! I've created a card using a Tiddly Ink image to submit for the challenge. I just love this little school girl Wryn, she's so much fun to color.

Here is a list of supplies I used for this card:

Tiddly Inks School Girl digi stamp
Clearly Besotted - An Apple a Day stamp
Hammermill card stock for the base and the image
Simple Stories Smarty Pants patterned 6x6 paper
Hobby Lobby Chalk paper pad
Prismacolor pencils
MFT Stitched Horizontal Stripes
Pierced Oval STAX

Just an update for everyone, unfortunately I did not make the design team.  However, I will try again.  I love this company and the images she creates for us.   I'll keep you posted!

Make it a great day!

Back to School

My twin grandsons are back in school today, starting 1st grade! It seems like yesterday that I was helping their momma when they were newborn. I asked Brody if he was excited for school, and he said "No Grams, I'm kinda scared." I asked him what he was afraid of, he said to me, "I don't know anything!" I told him "Silly boy, that's why we go to school!" I know learning new things can be kind of scary. I've had to push myself out of my comfort zone and learn how to do this blog thing - but it has been so rewarding!
I gave them little back to school bags and here are the cards I made for them. It's just a little something to encourage them with a new start to the school year. The teddy bear banner is a bookmark that they can use for reading all those new books!

Thanks for looking - I appreciate all of your encouragement!

Supplies I used for the cards:
Hammermill white card stock for the card base & image
Doodlebug 6x6 Back to School patterned paper
Bugaboo Boy Bear digi
Prismacolor pencils
MFT Fishtail Flags STAX
Misc scrap paper & ribbon

It's My First Post!

I made 2 of these cards to give to my grandson's kindergarten teachers (they are twins!) for the end of the school year. I designed this with MFT stamp, An Apple for Teacher. I colored it in using Prismacolors. The paper was leftovers that I had in my scrap bin. I loved the way the cards turned out.
