From the Heart - Heartfelt Sympathy

Hi Everyone!
I want to share with you a card from a special designer, Faith Skrdla. I discovered From the Heart designs just over a year ago. I fell in love with Faith's creations and participated in a couple of her challenges.  The blog posts began to slow down, and it was the end of the summer that she shared with us her battle with brain cancer. Unfortunately,  she lost this battle the end of July. I am sad that she  has passed.  I know that God has a purpose for every thing.  It is not for us to understand why but for us to trust that this is part of his plan. Faith has touched so many lives with her God-given talent. Here's is my card to honor Faith's talent and her life. There has been a Gofundme account set up for her family at...

Little Red Wagon Challenge #404 Favorite Products

Hi Everybody!
Wow! It's August! How did that happen? But it is also Wednesday which means its time for a new challenge.  Mandy is our hostess this week, and she wants to know what products are our favorite  to use.  Well, I have my favs that I always go to, MFT dies, Doodlebug patterned paper (one of many favs) and of course my embellies like sequins, twine and my glitter pen. But my newest fav is Pink & Main, I used their Tickled Pink stamp set.  That flamingo just cracks me up! I created this card pending my upcoming Hawaii trip!
Please join us at Little Red Wagon and showcase your favorite products.  I can't wait to see what the other girlfriends favorites are.  Take a peek and leave them with a little comment love!

Have a great week and give someone a smile!

P.S. Haha, the little green peeking out on the keft side is my post it note I use to list my notes and supplies - I'm feeling a little under the weather and I didn't catch it! Oh well, I just made you smile!

Hi Everyone!
We have a new challenge this week, Brenda is our hostess and she's wants us to Sing a Song! Not really sing but create a card that reflects a favorite song.  I picked up this stamp at the Mesa Rubber stamp convention this past spring and I love the chalkboard look. When I heard about this challenge I knew right away that I was going to use this stamp.  I love this old time favorite hymn!  So pick your favorite song and make a card or project that reflects that song, and join us at Little Red Wagon.   I'm sure the girlfriends are all in harmonywith this challenge!

Little Red Wagon #398 Dogs or Cats?

Hi Everyone!
We have a new challenge this week at Little Red Wagon - Dogs or Cats? Unfortunately we lost our little Jack Russell, Jaxson this past February.  I laugh and say he was my 3rd child!   My husband got him for me for Valentine's day 14 years ago. He said I needed something to nurture since the kiddos were leaving home!  I still miss him greatly.  We've decided not to get another puppy for now, I don't think we'd find another pup like Jax.  We have a gray tabby - Fitz, and we are now officially a cat family! He amuses us - when he wants to!
So for this week's challenge Jan wants us to use a dog or a cat, (or both) on your creation! Join us in the challenge, you can link up your entry at Little Red Wagon. I can't wait to see if there are more dogs or more cats! You have until next Tuesday to participate!
