Prayers for You!

Hi Everyone

Here is my card for this month's Outlawz Progressive Challenge.  It's really a lot of fun - you receive a freebie image and all you need to do is participate for that month and they will send you another freebie for the next month.  Easy enough!  I was really stumped with this image.  I originally thought a bookmark card and then a sympathy card.  Then I received a call from a dear friend who was diagnosed with breast cancer.  When my husband and I asked what could we do for them, her & her husband responded, "keep us in your prayers!"  When I came back to my studio the next day, I found my stamp "Prayers for You" and I knew this card was for her!

Her and her husband are believers and they know that God has a plan for both of them.  They are "faith-full" and will trust God through all of this!

Supplies used for this card:
Sandi's Samples Digital Rose Image
Authentique: Uncommon 6x6 patterned paper
Verve Praying for You stamp
Distressed Embossing Ink
Stampendous Black embossing powder
Prismacolor pencils
Wink of Stella

New Years Resolution!

Hi Everyone!
I hope this finds you all well, and 2016 brings many blessings to all of you! One of my New Years resolutions is to try new things so I am off to a good start!  I have a new card - okay, 3 new cards!  For this month's design team project at Through the Craft Room Door I made these gold foil note cards using Pickled Potpourri Hearts & Flowers digi stamp. I made a little note card set of 6 cards, 2 each of each sentiment. This will make a nice little gift for someone.

I have never used this technique of foiling a design before.
It was a lot of fun and I will certainly do this again!

Supplies I used for my creations:
Hammermill white card stock
Gold foil paper from Michael's
Pickled Potpourri Hearts & Flowers digi stamp set of 3
Stampendous gold embossing powder
Distress Inks Embossing Inks
Heidi Swapp Minc gold foil

Happy New Year everyone!

Hello everyone,
I am not sure what part of the country you are from  - but I have family in Colorado, Utah, Minnesota & Indiana.  And most of them are experiencing wintry conditions.  I am sure that if they looked out their windows they would be excited to see a cute little snowman like this!  Me, I happy to color a snowman and add a few snowflakes and it feels pretty wintry to me here in Arizona!!
This is a cute little snowman from Sassy Cheryl stamps.  I love, love, love her creations!  This little guy just puts a smile on my face.  Hope you enjoy him.
