Little Red Wagon Challenge #352 Christmas in July

Hi Everyone!
Here we are again for another weekly challenge.  This week, I am the host for the challenge and I have selected "Christmas in July" as the theme.  It'll be here before we know it and I thought just maybe this year I would start to make some cards now rather than in December. I have found myself to be giving more gift cards. Last year we were able to bless (no really we received the blessing!) several families with gift cards for food & gas.  So I though I'd start to make some cards that I could put those gift cards into.   So here is my take for the challenge.
That little scalloped circle is actually keeping the card closed!
This is what it looks like with the top flap folded up.

And when you fold the other flap down - ta da! There's the prize!

I hope that you can join us this week - I'd love to see your creations.  Check out with the other girlfriends have made for the challenge over at Little Red Wagon!

Here are the materials I used to create this card ~
MFT Jingle All the Way stamp set
Paper Studio Holiday Cheer 6x6 patterned paper
MFT Circle die
Fiskars Scalloped punch Large & Small
MFT Gift Card Grooves die
Prismacolor Pencils
Pop Up tape

Thanks for looking - I love your comments!

Little Red Wagon Challenge #350 - You're a Star!

Hi Everyone!
This has been a busy week, I was able to get a little Grammy time in with our grandsons! The weekend was fast and here it is Wednesday again, which means it's time for another challenge! This week, Mandy is our host and the theme she has selected is "You're a Star!"  You need to use stars on your projects.  I've had this adorable little super hero for awhile, it's from A Random Fan stamp -  Underwear Hero!  It reminds me so much of my grandsons who used to run around with underwear on their heads!
I'm working with my copic markers and practicing A LOT!  It's all good and I really enjoy playing with the markers.  Come over and join us in this week's challenge at The Little Red Wagon. I can't wait to see what the other girlfriends have made.  You have until next Tuesday to enter!

Supplies I used for this card:

Little Red Wagon Weekly Challenge #349 Summer Time!

Hi Everyone!
I hope you all had a nice holiday week-end. We got together with some family and friends to have a cookout, played some corn hole and watch the fireworks.  It is Summer Time!  And that is what girlfriend Donna has picked for this week's challenge theme.  So many things that you can do with this theme! I opted to make a card with the summer theme of baseball.  Those boys of summer play a lot of games!  I remember so many summer nights of playing softball for years!  Love this sport!
Let's see what you can come up with for this week's theme.  You can join us at Little Red Wagon.
This challenge will end next Tuesday night!  Can't wait to see what you come up with!

Here are the supplies I used to create my card:
Doodlebug Home Run 6x6 patterned paper
Bugaboo digi stamp Kidlet-Baseball Boy
Copic markers
MFT Stitched Oval Frames
