Tiddly Inks Design Team

Hi everyone!

I am really going out on a limb here! Recently, I saw a video on the Dave Ramsey FB page and they were interviewing Brad Thor. And he explained how after he graduated from college that he went to Paris to become an author.  Once there he began to doubt himself and his dream and shortly returned back to the states. Later he married and while on his honeymoon his wife asked about his dreams. He said he always wanted to publish a book. She encouraged him to write a book and now he's a best selling author of mystery novels! His point was "to live with no regrets". That being said, I have decided to go for the design team call. No guarantees that I would be offered a place on the design team, but if I don't try, I will be guaranteed that I will not make it!

So with that being said, here's my entry for the Tiddly Inks Design Team.

Supplies I used to create this card are:
Tiddly Inks Wryn-Howdy Cowgirl
Sentiment - MFT a la mode Cowgirl at Heart
Hammermill cream cardstock for image and sentiment
The patterned paper and brown cardstock was from my scrap stash
Spellbinders Deckle Rectangle and Stamps of Life Minitags2cut dies
Prismacolor Pencils
jute string and brads

If you have a minute, check out the other entrants!

Thank you everyone for your encouragement!

Hi Everyone,
I love Fall, it's my favorite season of the year. And I'm seeing fall decor everywhere - grocery stores, craft stores, even clothing stores! But it's a far cry from fall around here! We've been experiencing record breaking temperatures here in sunny Arizona - like 115 degrees! It can't cool down fast enough! Tiddly Inks digi stamp Fall cuties
Doodlebug Ghouls & Goodies 6x6 patterned paper
Hammermill white card stock, and black card stock

Fiskars oval punch & Stampin' Up tab punch
Sentiment is computer generated

Back to School

My twin grandsons are back in school today, starting 1st grade! It seems like yesterday that I was helping their momma when they were newborn. I asked Brody if he was excited for school, and he said "No Grams, I'm kinda scared." I asked him what he was afraid of, he said to me, "I don't know anything!" I told him "Silly boy, that's why we go to school!" I know learning new things can be kind of scary. I've had to push myself out of my comfort zone and learn how to do this blog thing - but it has been so rewarding!
I gave them little back to school bags and here are the cards I made for them. It's just a little something to encourage them with a new start to the school year. The teddy bear banner is a bookmark that they can use for reading all those new books!

Thanks for looking - I appreciate all of your encouragement!

Supplies I used for the cards:
Hammermill white card stock for the card base & image
Doodlebug 6x6 Back to School patterned paper
