Okay , here it is  - one card but 2 challenges!  I have really pushed myself out of my comfort zone with my computer skills! I have a love/hate relationship with both my iPad and laptop! Memorial Day Weekend

I can't believe it's Memorial Day weekend! Where has the month of May gone to? The weather here in Arizona has been unseasonably cooler - it doesn't even seem hot enough to be May! I want to put a shout out there to those who are serving our country, my dear Em! And those who have served our country - that's you David, and so many others! Thank you for your service! I am so grateful to live in this country.

Last night I was able to get together with the girls to play! My dear friend Donna designed these adorable cards using this little pig, Petunia from Stamping Bella. She was so much fun to color!  . Life is Good!

Hi everyone! We've enjoyed some wonderful 70 degree weather here in Surprise, Arizona! A little unusual for us this time of year anyways.  I had my oncologist appointment yesterday and everything was good! I walked out of the doctor's office and smelled the rain, and then I felt it on my face and I thanked God! I am so blessed!
Today, I had some time to play in my studio.  I had some Taylored Expressions stamps and dies that I used for the first time! I had so much fun creating these cards.  Hope you enjoy them!

Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day Mom!  You're going to see your card "virtually" before you get it in your hand! This counts for receiving a card for Mother's Day doesn't it? I want to thank you for always believing in me and encouraging me with my God given creative talent.  You must have seen something in me; I can remember my first Halloween costume I dressed as an "Artist". I still remember the smock you made and my "paint palette!" Another memory was riding my bicycle to the craft store to make my modge podge dolls! I was always trying to be creative.  You inspired me with your love for sewing as well.  Your quilts are beautiful and I wish we were closer so we could quilt together.  I love you and wish you a very Happy Mother's Day!  Your card should arrive this week! My First Challenge Entry

Here it is - my first challenge submission!  Hoppy Poppy is a Stamping Bella stamp, she's so cute!  I've entered this card into the Friday challenge.  I'll let you know what happens, I've never done this before!

It's My First Post!

I made 2 of these cards to give to my grandson's kindergarten teachers (they are twins!) for the end of the school year. I designed this with MFT stamp, An Apple for Teacher. I colored it in using Prismacolors. The paper was leftovers that I had in my scrap bin. I loved the way the cards turned out.
